From High School Sweathearts to Forever...
Josh and Baylee's story began at the age of 16, when they both attended Venice High School. Fate brought Josh to one of Baylee's parties, uninvited, but by the end of the night, he had stolen a kiss from her.
Although they parted ways after that night and ventured off into other relationships, they kept in touch almost every day. When both became single again, Josh finally asked Baylee to be his girlfriend at 17 years old, on March 12th, 2019.
The couple made wonderful memories through high school, nourishing their friendships as well as their own relationship. In 2019, Josh graduated and went off to college at FGCU in Fort Myers, FL. Though the transition was tough with Baylee still in high school, they persevered, spending weekends together and making the most of their time.
In 2020, the pandemic changed everything. Baylee’s senior year was cut short, and Josh’s freshman year of college was on halt. They both returned home to navigate their new "normal." That year, they were gifted a Siberian Husky puppy named Kai. The three quickly became a family, although Baylee would claim Kai loves his mommy the most.
With school on hold, Baylee proposed a new plan: for Josh to not return to college and instead start a pool cleaning business together. After months of discussing, they took the plunge. This decision turned out to be one of the best they ever made. Their business, Blue Solutions Pools & Spas, flourished, thanks to their hard work and support from family and friends.
Alongside building their business, Josh and Baylee deepened their faith together by joining RCIA classes at San Pedro Catholic Church. They wanted to ensure their relationship was not only strong but also rooted in faith, commitment, and love for each other and Jesus Christ.
After five wonderful years, Josh proposed on April 27th, 2024. With a beautiful picnic set up by their mothers at Nokomis Beach and family secretly watching from the sidelines, Josh asked Baylee to be his wife. It was the most magical day, and everything fell perfectly into place.
Now, they invite you to celebrate the next chapter of their love story. To seal the deal on forever and ever.
